Wes Edens Business Ventures

Wes Edens is a business person and co-founder of the fortress investment group. He is also the forefather of fortress energy and co-founder of Wisconsin’s Milwaukee Bucks NBA group license. Wes Edens was a competitive skier during his teenage years. He graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelor of Science in finance and business administration. Eden began his career at Lehman Brothers as managing director and partner to the firm. His investment style was demonstrated in the Wall street journal in 2007 as the most creative business person and formed other firms from the investments. Wes Edens started New fortress energy in 2014 and stated that his goal was to be the leading carbon-free energy producer.

New fortress energy Inc. claimed to sell eleven of its natural gas infrastructure vessels in approximately a $2 million contract to the newly created joint venture between Apollo Global management inc and new fortress energy. Money controlled by private-equity enterprise Apollo will possess 80% leaving New Fortress with 20% of the firm. After accounting for its share, the organization will obtain $1.1 billion in profits. Wes Edens stated that with Apollo, they would form a profound LNG marine platform that facilitates energy transformation and free more money to invest in other LNG projects globally. New Forest has been involved in many charity activities after completing the LNG project. It invested in a startup that creates low-cost green hydrogen, and with its renewable hydrogen sector, it partners with Apollo to create ad commercialize the hydrogen technology. New fortress aims to start a pilot project to test hydrogen energy utilization in 2021. Through his investment, Edens was baled to start a high-speed train line in 2018, and the company wishes to build a track extension to Orlando international airport, expected to start in 2022.
